Daisy the Great Announces Fall Tour and Releases New Single "Dog"
Brooklyn-based band Daisy the Great has unveiled their latest single, ?Dog,? which serves as a sneak peek of their upcoming album, The Rubber Teeth Talk, set to release on June 27 through S-Curve Records. The song is characterized by its catchy songwriting, inspired by a poignant moment during a walk in New York City, where band member Kelley Dugain encountered a stuffed Winnie the Pooh in a puddle, reflecting her own feelings of adult disillusionment.
Collaborating with Grammy-winning producer Catherine Marks, the duo aimed to enhance their unique, genre-blending sound and intricate harmonies. Marks expressed her deep connection to the band's music, emphasizing the emotional journey experienced while creating the album. Following the album's release, Daisy the Great will embark on a significant US tour starting in September, including a notable performance at Bowery Ballroom in New York on September 12, marking their largest show in the city to date.
